Short Term Emergency Aid Committee (STEAC)

To provide immediate short-term assistance with basic necessities to Yolo County families and individuals with income below the poverty level. Services include rental/utility assistance, food closet, interview outfits, books for community college, job training (forklift and food safety certification), and holiday program (food and gifts for 400 families). It total, assistance is provided to individuals roughly 7,000 times annually.
