Providing both active duty and veteran wounded, ill and injured with a team of Wounded Warriors who stay connected through the long journey back to a happy and productive life. Programs include: Weekly homemade meals, sports program, Secret Santa, Career help, Corporate Field Trips, and Family reunions.
OliveMoore is a unique nonprofit in that we have three branches: education, community outreach, and research. We provide family based nutrition education; not only about healthy eating but about the links between eating and chronic disease. We also have a community outreach component concentrated on building and sustaining wall gardens, health screenings, and resources connections such as: Covered California sign up support, and SNAP benefit sign up support. In addition, we have a focus on policy informing research.
