Facing the end of life can be very difficult. Help us offer
insight, guidance, and compassionate care for patients and
families struggling with end-of-life issues.
Many senior dogs are homeless – abandoned or lost. Help give them
a safe haven for life or until a loving adoptive home is found.
We help ease the suffering and neglect of feral and stray
community cats through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), daily care,
public education, ongoing colony support and management.
Adults with developmental disabilities have the highest
unemployment rate in the country at 70%. We help these folks find
and keep jobs and live independently.
Change a Neighborhood, Change a Life! In April and October, RTSF
mobilizes volunteers to repair homes and renovate nonprofit
facilities and schools in San Francisco.

We rescue, home-foster, rehabilitate and adopt out purebred (and
mixed-breed) dogs from shelters and from owners who need to give

We empower/inspire young women involved with the juvenile justice
system and/or the underground street economy to create positive
change in their lives/communities.
USCC’s local affiliates provide on-scene practical and emotional
support to bereaved survivors after suicides, fatal heart
attacks, infant deaths and other personal tragedies.
