Build United: United Way of Stanislaus County strongly believes in the importance of nonprofit capacity building. Until an organization can build the capacity to reach the “point of innovation”- and stay there-it’s unlikely to be able to meet the needs of the population it serves in the long term.
United Way realizes that there is no better way to increase efficiency, breakdown silos, and make bigger impact than to intentionally invest in nonprofits. We equip nonprofits with tools, through peer learning sessions, capacity assessment exercises, and funding to strengthen their effectiveness and fulfill their missions.
