Q & A:

Name, state department or agency

David Zeux, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

What do you enjoy most about working as a Loaned Executive on the OP campaign?

There are so many things, so the top five would be the staff and colleagues; meeting different non-profits and listening to their stories; sharing stories and inspiring others through the campaign; meeting people first hand who have benefited from the campaign; doing good for my community!

How long have you been involved in or volunteered with the campaign?

I have been volunteering for about three years as an Executive board member on a non-profit and two years with the campaign.

What inspires you to give through the campaign?

The knowledge that the non-profit will get consistent and gradual funding.

What nonprofits do you donate time or funds to, and why?

APSEA (Asian Pacific State Employee Association) Foundation; I am currently on their Executive board. We help state employees with training, career advancement and helping students with college and professional goals.

Any other comments you’d like to add?

Keep up the good work!
