Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley provides a “Home away from Home” and resources to children and their families who are experiencing emotional and financial burdens while coping with a seriously ill, hospitalized child. We serve 9 counties across the Central Valley. In 2015, 619 families stayed in one of our 18 bedrooms, but we had to turn away 698 due to capacity. Families of children being treated at a local valley hospital are who stay with us. We are at 100% occupancy every night and our average stay is 15 days.
