Annual Our Promise Campaign Kick-Off Event
Join us Wednesday, Aug. 30 on the North Steps of the State Capitol
Join guests from the public and nonprofit sectors on August 30 as we come together at the State Capitol to kick off the 60th anniversary of the Our Promise giving campaign! Visit with many participating nonprofits, hear from statewide elected officials, enter to win exciting prizes and enjoy music and interactive entertainment.
Our Promise represents thousands of nonprofit organizations and during this nonprofit fair-style event, you’ll have a chance to interact with many of them! Attending this event gives you the opportunity to learn about new nonprofits, explore causes that you’re passionate about, and discover where your donations go.
Please visit the Our Promise tent on the Capitol steps to receive a nonprofit fair map, an Our Promise plastic bag to collect handouts and a nonprofit passport to be filled out a turned in for a chance to win several prizes.

11 a.m. Nonprofit Fair starts // check in at Our Promise tent
12:45 p.m. Return completed passport to Our Promise tent (winners will be notified at the event)
1 p.m. Nonprofit Fair ends
The closest parking garage is located on 10th & L Street.
Cost: $1.50 each half hour or $18.00 daily maximum charge
