I work for the Department of Motor Vehicles.

What do you enjoy most about working as a Loaned Executive on the OP campaign? 

I enjoy meeting all the campaign chairs from all the departments and giving presentations. I love to talk about Our Promise and how much state employees can help folks in their local areas by supporting the nonprofits they are passionate about.

How long have you been involved in or volunteered with the campaign?

Two years as a Loaned Executive and a long time donor.

What inspires you to give through the campaign?

I love hearing about all the great things the non-profits that I donate to are doing. I feel as if they are “my nonprofits” because I support them.

What nonprofits do you donate time or funds to, and why?

I care deeply about those who should have someone to care for them but don’t, especially children and animals. I can’t help each child or animal individually, but by supporting the  Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, the Sacramento SPCA, the Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home and the Project Cover Your Neighbor Foundation, I am helping  to make someone’s life a little bit better.
